On the Galipeault Bridge in Montreal a reversible lane operation is conducted twice a day 5 days a week. All lane closing and opening operations are conducted in safety with the push of a button using the SwiftGate™ system.

EASTBOUD TRAFFIC REDIRECTED TO WESTBOUND BRIDGE IN 3 STEPS

1) Automated lane closure is conducted prior to the reversible lane operation and is achieved using 7 pre-signage modules spread over 1.5KM and 4 taper gate modules.

Completion time: 5 min.		 2) 1.5 KM reversible lane operation is completed using a transfer machine and moveable concrete barriers.




Completion time: 15 min.		 3) Automated lane opening after reversible lane operation is achieved using 7pre-signage modules spread over 1.5KM and 8 taper gate modules.
